- Flumotion is a state-of-the-art technology company specialized in software development for streaming.
- With headquarters in Barcelona, Flumotion was established in 2006 as a part of Fluendo, a group developing different multimedia projects based on the GStreamer framework, and that has positioned itself as a supplier of Multimedia Solutions for Linux. After more than 2.5 years of R&D, the exclusive technology developed by Flumotion offers advanced products and solutions to all companies interested in delivering audio and video on the Internet and mobile devices. Open Source Community
- Since 2004, Flumotion’s software is backed
up by a team of professional developers that work with open source. This means that there’s a big community behind this project, interested and specialized in the matter (streaming in this case). They can download the latest version of the software and try it. Through its testing and usage, they find possible mistakes or small conflicts and they can propose solutions. To maintain the code clean and with a high quality, some of the solutions are rejected.
